Jan Roe has been at St. Philip the Apostle School since 1997 and teaches the Pre-K4 class. She enjoys how the children of that age group challenge and engage her, especially with their curiosity and willingness to open their minds to all areas of learning. She completed her education at The District of Columbia Teachers College. When in the classroom, she enjoys gardening and writing short stories. For a time, she also worked at Holy Family Catholic School as the before and aftercare director and summer camp director. She held the same two positions at St. Philip for several years. She firmly believes that every child deserves the chance to learn.
