My name is Mrs. Tenisha Baylor and I am not only delighted to become a member of this institution but I am grateful for this opportunity as well. This is my 11th year teaching both general and Special Education students. I received my Bachelor's Degree in English From Bennett College for Women in Greensboro, North Carolina. While attending this institution, I received several scholarships. I was also on the Dean's List.
What should you expect from me? Partnership and dedication. My job is to do what is best for the children. I want to build a relationship with all of my students in order to understand them and push them forward. Educating and teaching a child is a team effort for teachers and parents in order for them to succeed. We must set a foundation for the good of the child that can be taken with them and implemented as they grow and learn.
Outside of teaching, I am a wife, cat mom and tiny human mom. I am a homebody. I absolutely love to shop and decorate. I run my own boutique/website out of my home. I enjoy watching scary movies; especially those based on a true story...those scare me the most!
I am excited about this next chapter in my life. I look forward to working with everyone.
